An Identifier consists of a sequence of alphanumeric charaters (including periods '.' and underscores '_'). The first character may not be numeric. Identifiers may be of arbitrary length and all characters are significant.
Identifiers are case sensitive.
eg. "Start" is not the same identifier as "START" or "start".
